Bruter v1.1 released (Brute-Forcer on Win32)
Bruter is a parallel network login brute-forcer on Win32. This tool is intended to demonstrate the importance of choosing strong passwords. The goal of Bruter is to support a variety of services that allow remote authentication.
It currently supports following services:
FTP, HTTP, IMAP, MSSQL, MySQL, POP3, PgSQL, SIP, SMB, SMTP, SNMP, SSH2, Telnet, VNC, Web-Form.
Supported Platforms
- Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (Required Microsoft VC++ 2008 SP1 Runtime)
- WINE (Required vcrun2008 from winetricks; Not fully test)
Dependencies
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package
- OpenSSL (included in binary package) – I used Win32 OpenSSL package. http://www.slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html
- Libssh2 (included in binary package)

- Auto detect “Max Attempt/Connection” when set it to -1
- Add “Password First” option (see documentation for more detail)

- Display “found valid credential” message in message tab
- Fixed application sometimes crashs when using “Stop”
