Bruter v1.1 released (Brute-Forcer on Win32)

Bruter is a parallel network login brute-forcer on Win32. This tool is intended to demonstrate the importance of choosing strong passwords. The goal of Bruter is to support a variety of services that allow remote authentication.

It currently supports following services:
FTP, HTTP, IMAP, MSSQL, MySQL, POP3, PgSQL, SIP, SMB, SMTP, SNMP, SSH2, Telnet, VNC, Web-Form.


Supported Platforms

  • Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 (Required Microsoft VC++ 2008 SP1 Runtime)
  • WINE (Required vcrun2008 from winetricks; Not fully test)

  • Auto detect “Max Attempt/Connection” when set it to -1
